Kiev 60

I’ve only had the Kiev a few months now and need to use it more. With the 65mm Volna lens it is perfect for portraits – so when I picked it up on Sunday to take some snaps of Cassius sleeping and recovering from the hospital ordeal – I didn’t expect it to have film in it.

Luckily I had in shade when I cracked open the back to reveal it was half way through a roll of ektar 100 and so I finished the film with a few of Cassius and then had it developed to find half a film of the day he was born and half 4.5 weeks later.

The line on the lower image is indeed the camera back having been opened – but I love the imperfections of the image when the subject is just so perfect.
