Kiev 88 test shots at night
So having now worked out how to stop the frames from over lapping (and with a working metered prism fitted), the Kiev 88 is becoming my camera to take everywhere – despite it’s size and the fact that I have to use my largest camera bag every time I take it anywhere.
Like the very slightly smaller Kiev 60, this is very easy to use and with the 2.8/80 and 3.5/65 lenses fitting both bodies; it has the benefit of being sharp or really soft when you play with the DOF.
These two pictures are the standard two night shots from our flat in HK – looking straight out into CWB and to the left towards Stubbs Road. Both are exposed for 20 seconds at f2.8.
