The Star Diary Part II

We have had nothing but cloudy nights since I announced my intention to take some long exposures and add to this the fact that we are getting close to the full moon now – it means that the availability of clear nights that are dark enough to do this is deminishing quickly.

We have 5 nights before we return to HK – and so I am still hopeful of some chance of doing the long exposures but may be disappointed by results that are too bright and not long enough.

When we are back in HK we are moving to our new place in Clear Water Bay and so with us being on the Kowloon side and looking out to sea away from the city, perhaps I am going to find that the opportunity for night time photography is closer to home.
